I, being a geek myself, would recommend DC to step up its game in the movie and cinema sector. They are owned by a movie studio itself and a very well accomplished studio, they can hire Christopher Nolan again or go with Quentin Tarantino or Steven Spielberg or Martin Scorsese. DC owns the comic industry with their dark themes while Marvel has comparatively little light theme. Those people who are into Anime or Japanese Comics should give these a must read.

Marvel is really living its dreams with 42.82% of the comic book industry, more than any comic book company beating DC, Dark Horse and Hasbro. With movies better than ever and negligible turnover rate, Marvel has won its war with its rivals in its industry. Be it Warner Bros. in the film industry, DC in the comics, Marvel has won them all. All through well strategic planning.
